Welcome to Cosentinoworks, the studio site of multimedia artist and educator Daniel Cosentino. My work spans photography, sculpture, land art, and installation, shaped by a career in teaching and exhibiting across academic and public spaces. Projects include Totem Domum, a gilded tree remnant marking a threshold between nature and suburbia, photographed with a 4×5 Linhof and shown in museum and gallery settings, and 1108 from the Hands Series, made using palladium printing, intaglio ink, and gold or silver leaf. I also present lectures on the history and future of photography, with sessions designed for universities, libraries, and cultural centers. This site is built and maintained by me. I offer web design and other creative services. My recent writing appears in Latent Views and Equine Magistrate. Artwork and services are also available at shop.cosentinoworks.com.
Cosentinoworks is the online portfolio of Daniel Cosentino, a New Jersey-based multimedia artist, conceptual artist, educator, and writer. His interdisciplinary practice spans photography, sculpture, installation art, land art, and video performance. Cosentino’s work explores themes of memory, identity, place, and perception, blending traditional and emerging techniques such as 3D printing, darkroom photography, and ink on canvas. His projects, including Standing Box, Totem Domum, Hands, and Letters, examine latent communication, hidden meaning, and symbolic gesture in both public and private space. With a background in philosophy and art education, Cosentino has taught internationally and lectured on visual art, conceptual process, and community design. As the creator of editorial platforms Latent Views and Equine Magistrate, he also contributes to contemporary art writing and cultural reflection. This portfolio highlights select works across eight galleries, each reflecting Cosentino’s investigation of materiality, space, and the evolving role of the contemporary artist. From the sculptural typography of the Bones series to the introspective portraits of Pieces of Me, Pieces of You, each project connects visual art with a broader cultural and conceptual dialogue. Based in Morristown, New Jersey, Cosentino’s art practice bridges personal history and universal symbolism. Explore Cosentinoworks to discover how conceptual visual art and multimedia practices can reveal the unseen layers of our world.
